Leyla Kamalick King's Ordination

On September 5, 2009 Leyla Kamalick King was ordained a priest in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The Cathedral sponsored Mother Leyla through her process and cathedral members Alexandra Townson, Mother Cathy and Bishop Michael were all in attendance for the festive day. Mother Leyla is living in Sewanee Tennessee where her husband, The Rev. Dr. Benjamin King, is an associate professor of church history at the University of the South-Sewanee School of Theology. We wish Mother Leyla all the best for what promises to be a long and fruitful ministry.
