D. PURPOSE OF THE VESTRY’S WORK
This is “a time for prayer and reflection on how our work tonight engages issues of poverty and economic and racial justice.”
Enclosed with this agenda is a document from Fr. Don setting forth what could be expected from one priest, one and ½ priests and 2 priests. There is also a document from Jonathan Scarozzo setting forth what could be expected from one musician, one and ½ musicians and 2 musicians.
The Music Department and Mother Liza would like a specific statement from the Vestry that, when any choir sings for a wedding or funeral, additional funds left after paying the choir members would go to the Choir Tour Fund. This has been the practice in the past and it would be helpful to have it affirmed by the Vestry.
Because there was some confusion as to one of the delegates (who was a delegate and who was an alternate), neither that particular delegate or alternate is able to attend Convention. The Vestry needs to appoint another delegate.
